Politcal poster ... here are some ideas that are currently going through my head
- funny how there are homeless/poverty strung people around the world and there are dogs/animals who have better clothing/assocories
- how dogs can drink out of bottled water and children/people in thrid world countries have to drink bacteria infected water

basically.. the theme would be homeless/poverty stricken/third world country in contrast to trivial things such as dog accessories. Here are some pictures i found on the internet

Just in-corperating the picture into random things...trying to make it "machine like" for the self portrait... but they don't really look very good... haha... just playing around...

I am a very cartoony type of person so i was trying to include my cartoon side to the picture..but it's not very effective...

the rubiks cube... a neverending game and very confusing.. which emphsies the original design i have of confusion..

The image doesn't really seem complete by itself... since it'a a self portrait of myself as a machine..i was thinking i can be one of those old projectors i.e. the the image i have designed below will be projected out of my eyes (showing external is happy and internal is actually not what the external suggests)...

This is just a compilation of the pictures i found below... i think the overall projects me at the present moment...inner turmoil, lost, angry, confused with an eerie calmness... what appears on the outside is not always what is progjected in the inside...

These are just some of the pictures that represents how i feel at the moment...
- anger, turmoil, lost, anger, rage, confused ...

We are meant to do a self portrait of ourselves as a machine...in class we are told to think of ourselves as an animal; my animal i chose was a hippo ...
personality traits of a hippo - lazy, calm but can get very aggressive, eats alot, lives in herds (likes to be around other people), laid back, cute

Trivia about hippos:
In 2005, a hippo calf rescued by a wildlife sanctuary in Mombasa, Kenya, was adopted by a giant tortoise named Mzee at the sanctuary. The one-year-old orphan bonded with the 100-year-old tortoise, to the amazement of zoologists
